vcfo welcomes Senior People Operations / HR Consultant Dean Fullerton to the Houston team.
Dean Fullerton is an experienced and pragmatic human resources leader with extensive domestic and international experience in oil & gas, aerospace, and manufacturing. He delivers strategic change clearly linked to business goals while directing the support necessary to mitigate adverse effects on productivity.
Dean entered a full-time HR work-study program while in college, and at age 22, he was already administering compensation for 2,000 employees.
He specialized in benefits for 7+ years at Sundstrand, an aerospace company, and then joined Thermo Electron as a human resources manager, responsible for all facets of HR, and then as human resources director overseeing multiple global P&L businesses serving petroleum, oil & gas, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and minerals industries across 12 countries.
Starting in 2007, he led HR for the NYSE oilfield services company Flotek Industries, where he oversaw all human resources, payroll, safety, fleet, and insurance/risk-management policies and programs. From there, he went on to found Human Resources Advisors of Texas, providing small companies with focused, effective retained or project-based HR consulting.
In more recent years, he has held vice president positions in HR for Green Field Energy Services and US Well Services. He provided interim support during M&A activity, including the 5-week due diligence process, as ProFrac Services acquired US Well Services, and he worked for ProFrac as senior regional HR director after the acquisition.
Dean serves as a guest adjunct professor to a community college and volunteers at Mission NE and the Houston Food Bank. He enjoys spending time outdoors and enjoying time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and two dogs.
