vcfo Dallas welcomes Dennis Marshall as a Consulting CFO, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience.

As an advisor to mayors and business leaders alike, Dennis is a performance-driven financial maestro able to conduct complex negotiations and analyses to develop new business opportunities and improve internal operations.

Whether managing diverse teams or developing innovative growth strategies, Dennis is at home developing alliances and executing large initiatives. Articulate and analytical, he enjoys motivating stakeholders at all levels through the power of numbers.

Dennis lends clients the benefits of a broad perspective, having worked for public and private clients in London, Toronto, and several U.S. cities.

Prior to joining vcfo, Dennis was managing partner and CFO for a Dallas-based investment firm. He worked to integrate six dental practices (more than 100 employees and $20M annual revenue). Dennis also designed the practices’ first revenue model, which led to 13 percent annualized growth.

Other career highlights include sourcing and structuring term sheets for $187M in EB-5 capital for real estate investors. In addition, Dennis spearheaded multiyear public-private partnerships with transport agencies in Boston, London, and Los Angeles. As the Chicago Transit Authority’s strategy and business development consultant, Dennis helped generate revenues of $550M by developing public-private partnerships and complex outsourcing agreements.

While vice president for a London-based concern, Dennis forged a partnership with MasterCard that led to its $8M investment in the firm.

Dennis works as a regular volunteer for the North Texas Food Bank.

Physically active, Dennis and his fiancée enjoy spending quality time together with their dog. Exploring the world through travel is another passion, which Dennis finds immensely valuable for broadening his perspective and learning new cultures.
