Timothy Lee is a senior financial and legal professional with more than three decades of experience. He is a results-oriented executive focused on issue identification and resolution, quality and resource optimization with proven success maximizing performance while minimizing risk and propelling profitability. Timothy’s background is in conceptualizing and implementing innovative solutions to capitalize on performance, efficiency, and productivity to cultivate a positive, proactive work environment. He has extensive experience in financial management, operations management, revenue and profitability, supply chain optimization, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and financial ROI optimization.
Prior to joining vcfo, Timothy’s career includes CFO, COO and Business Consultant, and General Counsel positions for organizations such as Thinc.Small, Treat Health Corporation and its associated subsidiaries, Screamer Design, and his eponymous law firm. During this time, he achieved annual growth in excess of 175% for three years through financial modeling in the higher education space, developed integrated operations and financial models for three service lines in order for a pharmaceutical claims processor to maintain profitability, negotiated and drafted multiple million dollar service and user agreements for business clients, created innovative revenue models and drafted royalty agreements for an early-stage music producer, secured Series A funding offers from Wall Street investors with an original business plan and financial forecast, and identified and led a team through selection and implementation of an ERP system for an electronics and CPG manufacturer.
Timothy previously served as Board member for Central Texas Food Bank from 2015-2021. His time there included holding positions of Finance Committee Chair and Treasurer in 2020-2021. Timothy is also a member of the Texas Bar Austin Bar Associations, and a former labor and employment law section officer.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys hiking, metal work, viewing art, and participating in outdoor activities with his husband and dog, a Redbone hound. He also has a love for live music and has attended every ACL music festival since 2002.
