Pamela Hooper has joined the vcfo team to serve as a Senior People Operations / HR Consultant for clients in the Austin and Central Texas areas.
Pamela is a solutions-oriented senior people operations executive with more than 25 years of experience in human resources. She is a true HR generalist with an extensive background in business strategy, talent acquisition and management, total rewards, coaching, and organizational development.
Prior to joining vcfo, Pamela started her HR career in 1998 as an HR Generalist and Benefits Specialist. Over the years, she worked her way up to executive people operations positions. Her background is that of a true generalist with a specialty in benefits, organizational design, and talent acquisition. She has provided leadership to profit and non-profit organizations in a variety of industries such as oil and gas, semiconductors, technology, biotech, retail, NGO, and digital marketing.
Pamela has developed and implemented employee management programs, advised on employee relations, talent development, performance management, policies, procedures, federal and state laws, benefits, compensation, and recruitment. Her body of work with a non-profit in Costa Rica is what awarded her with being declared a Woman of Outstanding Leadership by the Executive Committee of The International Women’s Leadership Association.
Most recently, at Vanish Laser Clinic, Pamela designed a strategic business development plan resulting in at least 25% growth year over year while leading and executing all people operations and driving business operations.
Pamela recently moved back to Texas. She enjoys traveling the world, sports, and spending time with her daughter and grandchild.
