Tommy Deavenport, co-founder, vcfo and founder & SVP/regional manager, Square 1 Financial

Tommy co-founded vcfo with Ellen Wood and is now Square 1 Financial’s Regional Manager for the state of Texas as well as the Midwest area. He was formerly a Vice President of Finance and Operations for the Austin Ventures Accelerator Program and a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Imperial Bank's Emerging Growth Division. He has also been a consultant with several companies in their earliest stages, including Vignette, Garden.com, SMART Technologies, Zilliant and MessageOne.  Tommy serves on the Board of Directors for Breakthrough Austin and as a finance committee advisor for Girlstart.  He obtained his BBA in Accounting from Texas State University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and an avid golfer.

David T. Orlandella, Managing Director, Enhanced Capital Partners

David is a Managing Director for Enhanced Capital Partners, LLC and is responsible for overseeing investment activity in the Western United States. He is a member of the firm's Investment Committee and splits his time between the Austin and Denver offices.

David brings more than 17 years of experience in venture capital, corporate finance, and strategic consulting. He has managed numerous private equity investments and developed operational strategies encompassing acquisitions, divestitures, and the development of new business.

Prior to joining Enhanced Capital Partners, he was Managing Director at Redwood Ventures, a $300 million private equity fund bringing together top executives from the telecommunications industry.  Before joining Redwood, David was Executive Director at US West Communications, Inc. managing voice and data strategies as well as investments for the company’s $100 million venture fund.  Prior to US West, he served as Director at KPMG Baymark and previously at Coopers & Lybrand where he provided corporate finance, investment banking and business consulting services for companies involved in mergers and acquisitions, private placements and recapitalizations.

David serves on the Board of Directors of Wireless Channels, Movero Technology, HealthTalent, and Fitness Together. He graduated from Bates College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (“TiE”) and assists with University of Denver and University of Texas programs for the development of entrepreneurs regarding venture capital and business finance.
